## Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Social, the Mid-level Social Media Manager leads day-to-day execution on assigned client accounts, is responsible for content planning, community management, scheduling, and reporting to a consistently high standard. This role works closely with the Senior Social Strategist to implement strategy and feeds real-world platform and audience learnings back into the strategic layer.

&nbsp;Key accountabilities

Content and community
&nbsp; &nbsp; Plan, write, schedule, and publish social content across platforms in line with client strategy and brand guidelines.&nbsp; &nbsp; Manage community: moderation, engagement, crisis monitoring, FAQ maintenance, and live coverage.&nbsp; &nbsp; Develop and manage content calendars weekly, monthly, and by campaign.&nbsp; &nbsp; Proof copy and content against brand voice, tonality, and strategy documents.&nbsp; &nbsp; Stay current with platform updates and apply best practices to client content.
Insights and collaboration
&nbsp; &nbsp; Pull, interpret, and present social performance reports; surface insights and optimisation recommendations.&nbsp; &nbsp; Track sentiment, audience behaviour, and competitor activity.&nbsp; &nbsp; Contribute ideas and platform knowledge to monthly and campaign brainstorms.&nbsp; &nbsp; Support paid social trafficking: ensure correct assets, links, and targets reach media partners.&nbsp; &nbsp; Feed execution-level learnings and audience signals back to the Senior Strategists.

## Requirements

Degree
Essential

 2–4 years social media management experience, ideally in an agency. Solid content planning and scheduling across major platforms. Working knowledge of social analytics tools. Strong attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple accounts. Reliable, organised, and proactive.

Advantageous

 Copywriting ability — social-first, tonally flexible. Experience contributing to creative brainstorms. Familiarity with paid social trafficking.
