Good ideas. Knows how to make them move: “That is awesome!” If that’s the response you’re after when people see your work, read on. We’re looking for a mid-level multimedia designer to join our Durban Jungle. You’re comfortable taking a brief, developing a visual direction, and carrying it through to finished work. Your toolkit covers design, motion and video, and you know how to bring them together to make an idea land. Can you see beyond the first layout? You’ll develop design concepts and translate campaign ideas across social, digital and occasional print formats. From always-on content to campaign roll-outs, you’ll keep the work cohesive while making each execution right for its platform. Can you make it move with purpose? You’ll create motion graphics, animations, and video edits that help tell the story. We’re looking for good judgment around pacing, typography, composition, and the relationship between sound and picture. Are AI image and video tools part of how you work? Practical comfort using a variety of AI image and video generation tools is essential. You should be able to use them throughout the creative process, from exploring a direction to generating, refining, and integrating material into finished work. You’ll need the judgement to choose the right tools, maintain visual and brand consistency, and spot what needs fixing. Show us examples and talk us through your process. Can you own the work and share what you know? You’ll manage design deliverables independently, balance multiple projects, and present your thinking clearly to creative leads and clients. You’ll also help junior designers improve through useful feedback and practical guidance.
