Medical Director providing clinical governance, quality and safety oversight, regulatory compliance and strategic planning, requiring an MBChB, a master’s degree in Medicine, Public Health or Healthcare Management, a valid KMPDC licence and 7-10 years clinical experience with 3-5 years in senior medical management, in a hospital healthcare environment, on-site role in Mombasa.

REQUIREMENTS

• MBChB or its equivalent from a recognized institution
• Masters Degree in Medicine (MMed), Public Health (MPH), Healthcare Management, or related clinical specialty is highly desirable
• Valid Licence and current retention certificate from KMPDC
• Minimum 7-10 years of clinical with atleast 3 – 5years in senor medical management or leadership role in a busy level 4 or 5 Hospital
• Strong understanding of the Kenyan Healthcare Ecosystem SHA/SHIF operations, private insurance frameworks
• At least five years service as clinical lead e.g. Department or Section
