Mechanic diagnosing, servicing, repairing and maintaining vehicles including engine, brake, suspension and transmission repairs and routine preventive maintenance, requiring a certificate or diploma in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or Automotive Engineering, 2-3 years mechanic experience and a valid driving licence, in an automotive workshop environment, on-site role in Karen. We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and experienced Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they remain in safe and efficient working condition. ### Key Responsibilities - Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance. - Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and recommend appropriate repairs. - Inspect vehicles and identify worn, damaged, or faulty components. - Perform engine, brake, suspension, transmission, and other mechanical repairs. - Conduct regular preventive maintenance. - Ensure all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. - Maintain proper records of repairs and maintenance carried out. - Keep tools, equipment, and the workshop clean and organized. - Adhere to all workplace health and safety standards. ### Qualifications & Requirements - Certificate or Diploma in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Automotive Engineering, or a relevant field. - 2-3 years of experience as a mechanic. - Good knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures. - Good knowledge of automotive electrical systems and electrical engineering is an added advantage. - Good communication skills and a strong work ethic. - Valid driving licence.
