Marketing Officer

The Marketing Officer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing marketing initiatives that drive demand creation, strengthen the Seed Co brand, support customer engagement, and contribute to the company's growth strategy.

### KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement the annual marketing plan and activity calendar.

Coordinate farmer field days, exhibitions, demonstrations and channel activation programmes.

Manage product launches, promotional campaigns and brand visibility initiatives.

Coordinate digital marketing activities and monitor campaign performance.

Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities and market trends.

Prepare and manage the marketing budget and evaluate campaign return on investment.

Coordinate advertising, media relations and customer communication activities.

Build customer engagement programmes to strengthen brand awareness and loyalty.

Track marketing performance indicators and prepare management reports.

Ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHSE) requirements.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND ATTRIBUTES

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Creativity and innovation in developing marketing campaigns.
Good understanding of digital marketing and brand management.

- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field

Minimum three (3) years' relevant experience, including at least one year in a senior role

Professional qualification in Marketing will be an added advantage.
