Job description

We are seeking a creative, energetic and outgoing Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and social media activities. The ideal candidate should have an interest in social media, content creation, influencer marketing and online community management, and must be comfortable appearing on camera when required.

Job Summary

• The Marketing Assistant will support the Social Media Manager and Marketing Team in content production, livestreams, influencer coordination, community management, market research and offline marketing activities. The role is suited to an individual who is creative, tech-savvy, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Social Media Manager with livestream preparation, video shooting and content production.
• Support the preparation of scripts, props, products, shooting locations and other materials required for social media content.
• Participate in videos and livestreams when required, including simple hosting, product demonstrations and short skits.
• Assist with basic video editing, caption writing and content organisation.
• Source and onboard new influencers and assist with influencer communication, posting reminders, campaign coordination and performance follow-up.
• Manage and grow WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook and other online community groups.
• Keep community members active and encourage participation in promotional campaigns.
• Share marketing content and links, invite new users and contribute to community growth.
• Plan simple group engagement activities and communicate campaign updates and incentives.
• Answer basic community questions and follow up with active promoters to improve participation and promotional performance.
• Support market research by collecting competitor information, social media trends, user opinions and local market feedback.
• Assist with preparation and execution of offline events, including material preparation, guest reception, registration, photography and on-site coordination.
• Maintain and organise marketing files, content materials, influencer records, community records and event documents.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the marketing team.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Languages or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in social media, community management or content creation. Exceptional fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with WhatsApp, Telegram and Facebook Groups.
• Basic experience in sourcing and coordinating with KOLs/KOCs.
• Basic video editing skills using tools such as CapCut or Premiere.
• Ability to write simple scripts and social media captions.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Outgoing, confident and willing to appear on camera for short videos, skits and livestream product demonstrations.
• Tech-savvy with a strong understanding of social media trends, particularly TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
• Detail-oriented with good multitasking and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and support offline events.
