VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT@ NORWEGIAN CHURCH AID (NCA) / DANISH CHURCH AID (DCA)POSITION: MARKETING AND COMMERCIALISATION SPECIALISTLocation: LilongweProgramme: Tisangalale ndi ChumaOVERVIEW Norwegian Church Aid (NCA), in partnership with DanChurchAid (DCA), is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Marketing and Commercialisation Specialist under its Tisangalale ndi Chuma programme.Key Responsibilities- Coordinate value chain development and market access activities.- Conduct market assessments and business feasibility studies.- Develop market linkages between farmer organisations and buyers.- Strengthen agricultural aggregation and supply systems.- Provide technical support and training in agribusiness, marketing and value chain development.- Prepare work plans, progress reports and market analysis.Minimum Qualifications and Experience- Postgraduate degree in Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Development, Development Economics (Agriculture) or a related field.- At least 7 years of relevant experience in agricultural enterprise development and marketing.- At least 5 years of experience in agricultural value chains, market linkages and commercialisation.- Experience in farmer mobilisation and linking smallholder farmers to markets.- Strong business planning, networking, analytical and communication skills.- Knowledge of Malawi's agricultural policies and extension systems.Mode of ApplicationInterested candidates should submit:- Updated CV.- A statement explaining why they are suitable for the position.- Names and contact details of two traceable referees.Applications should be addressed to:The Country DirectorNorwegian Church AidP.O.
