### Key Responsibilities

- Build and co-ordinate market outreach across Nairobi’s key trading areas.

- Recruit, train and manage local promoters for merchant outreach and onboarding.

- Identify active trading areas, merchant groups, importers and high-potential customers.

- Explain payments to China, customer onboarding and basic product use.

- Build trusted relationships with traders, wholesalers, shop owners and market groups.

- Gather market feedback and share practical insights with management.

Requirements

- Real, hands-on experience in Nairobi wholesale or open-air markets such as Gikomba, Kamukunji, Eastleigh, Mlolongo/Athi River or similar areas.

- A strong network among traders, wholesalers, importers, shop owners or market associations.

- Experience recruiting, organizing and supervising field promoters or sales teams.

- Confidence in merchant acquisition, field sales and frequent market visits.

- Fluent Swahili and confident English communication.

- Reliability, initiative and readiness to work on the ground.

- China sourcing, importing or cross-border payments experience is an advantage.
