### EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

LUKANGA WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION COMPANY LIMITED (LgWSC)

Lukanga Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited (LgWSC) is a Commercial Utility Company providing Water Supply and Sanitation Services in Central Province. The Company invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and self-motivated Zambian Nationals to fill the following vacant positions.

### MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

The Management Accountant will be responsible for providing accurate, timely financial management information, budgeting, cost control, management reporting, and business decision support to management to improve profitability, efficiency, and cost recovery. The role is key in driving performance management, NRW financial analysis, and tariff justification.

### A. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

i. School Certificate.

ii. Degree in Accountancy/Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA Managerial Stage)/ACCA Level 2/CA Zambia Licentiate or equivalent qualification.

iii. Three (3) years’ experience in a busy commercial environment.

### B. PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP

Licentiate Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) in good standing with a valid ZICA membership certificate.

### C. COMPETENCIES

i. Working knowledge of Pastel, ERP proficiency: NAVISION.

ii. Strong Budgeting and financial modelling and forecasting skills.

iii. Advanced skills in MS Word and Excel.

iv. Strong analytical and business acumen.

v. Ability to translate numbers into decisions.

vi. High integrity and confidentiality.

vii. Excellent communication.

viii. Ability to present financials to non-finance managers.

ix. Knowledge of NWASCO guidelines and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

x. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
