We are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Controller to join our Packaging team and play a critical role in ensuring maximum equipment availability and operational excellence. ### Key Responsibilities ### The successful candidate will be responsible for • Coordinating, coaching and supervising maintenance teams within the production environment. • Planning and executing preventive and planned maintenance activities. • Ensuring the availability of required tools, equipment and spare parts. • Monitoring and improving plant reliability and packaging machine efficiency. • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing excellence programmes. • Facilitating problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. • Maintaining high standards of health, safety, environmental compliance and housekeeping. • Developing and coaching artisans, technicians and operators to improve maintenance effectiveness. • Managing engineering administration and ensuring compliance with maintenance systems and processes. • Driving implementation of Manufacturing Way/GEM principles and best practices. ### Ideal Candidate Profile ### The ideal candidate will possess • BSc Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. • Strong understanding of packaging production processes and technologies. • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems such as COSWIN. • Excellent communication and influencing skills. • Proven ability to drive a high-performance maintenance culture. • Knowledge of Manufacturing Way strategies and continuous improvement methodologies. ### Key Performance Indicators ### Success in this role will be measured through • Improved plant reliability and packaging machine efficiency. • Effective problem-solving and root cause analysis outcomes. • Adherence to health, safety and environmental standards. • Team development and coaching effectiveness. • Continuous improvement and operational excellence achievements. ### How to Apply Interested candidates should submit an application letter, detailed CV and copies of academic and professional qualifications cover letter (single PDF) to recruitment@natbrew.co.zm Shortlisted candidates contacted only.
