Its core business is to procure, transmit and distribute electric power as well as manage System Market Operations in Malawi. ESCOM is inviting applications from suitably qualifiedcandidates to fill the following vacant positions currently existing within the Corporation:LV DISTRIBUTION NETWORK ANALYST – 7 POSITIONSGrade: ES12Location: Regional OfficesSupervised by : Regional CoordinatorsDuration: 6 monthsPurpose of the jobTo analyze, monitor, and optimize the Low Voltage (LV) electricity distribution network to enhance system reliability, efficiency, safety, and customer service delivery.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze LV network performance and identify areas requiring improvement.Monitor network loading, power quality, and vollage profiles.Conduct technical studies and prepare reports on network reliability and operational efficiency.Assess network constraints and recommend corrective actions.Maintain and update network databases, GIS, and related analytical systems.Develop forecasts for electricity demand and network capacity requirements.Collaborate with field teams in investigating network faults and service interruptions.Minimum Qualifications and ExperienceA minimum of a Certificate in Electrical EngineeringAdvanced Computer SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently or in a teamENUMERATORS – 145 POSITIONSGrade: ES13Location: Regional Offices (South, Central & North)Supervised by : Regional CoordinatorsDuration: 5 monthsPurpose of the jobTo collect, verify, and update accurate electricity distribution network data in the field to support network planning, asset management, system maintenance, and operational efficiency.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollect accurate data on LV network infrastructure (poles, transformers, cables, meters, etc.)Record details on asset condition, age, and maintenance needs.Verify GPS coordinates of assets and ensure proper georeferencing.Survey LV network routes and map key assets (transformers, meters, junctions)Maintain daily logs of activities, locations, and data collectedProvide feedback on challenges or obstacles faced during data collectionMinimum Qualifications and ExperienceA minimum of a Certificate in Electrical EngineeringStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently or in a teamInterested applicants should submit their applications including detailed Curriculum Vitae and three (3) names of traceable referees by Friday, 11th September 2026, to:Director of Human Resources and Administration,ESCOM House,P.O.
