Logistics & Site Operations Officer coordinating and supervising cleaning teams at client sites and managing transportation and site documentation, requiring a diploma or degree in Logistics, Operations or Business Management, at least 2 years logistics or site supervision experience and a valid driving licence with manual vehicle proficiency, in a cleaning and facilities management environment, on-site role in Nairobi. Job Purpose We are looking for a confident, responsible and hands-on Logistics & Site Operations Officer to coordinate our cleaning teams and ensure smooth service delivery at client sites. The successful candidate will act as the team supervisor on the ground, coordinate staff, interact professionally with clients and make quick, practical decisions when challenges arise. ### Key Responsibilities - Coordinate and supervise cleaning teams at client sites. - Ensure staff report to site on time, are properly organised and have the required equipment and materials. - Act as the company’s main point of contact at client sites. - Communicate confidently and professionally with high-end and corporate clients. - Understand client requirements and ensure services are delivered to the expected standard. - Make quick and appropriate decisions on the ground when unexpected situations arise. - Monitor the quality and progress of cleaning work and address issues immediately. - Allocate duties to team members and ensure everyone understands their responsibilities. - Coordinate transportation, movement of staff, equipment and materials to and from different sites. - Drive company vehicles when required, including manual transmission vehicles. - Handle site-related challenges and report important issues to management promptly. - Ensure company equipment and supplies are properly handled and accounted for. - Complete site reports, checklists and other required documentation. - Assist management in ensuring smooth daily operations. Requirements - Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Operations, Business Management or a related field. - At least 2 years’ experience in logistics, operations, site supervision or a similar role. - A valid driving licence with proven ability to drive manual vehicles. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Confident and comfortable dealing with high-end clients and corporate customers. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Able to remain calm and make quick, sound decisions under pressure. - Highly organised, reliable and physically able to move around different work sites. - Good knowledge of Nairobi and surrounding areas will be an advantage. - Must be able to work flexible hours depending on client assignments. - Experience in the cleaning, hospitality, facilities management or service industry will be an added advantage. What we are looking for This is not a desk-only position. We need someone who is hands-on, firm but respectful with staff, confident with clients and capable of taking charge of operations on the ground.
