## Job Description

Medical Jobs, KMTC Jobs. Lecturer II – Community Oral Health instructs in preventative dental care and oral hygiene, requires a Community Oral Health Degree/Higher Diploma and clinical experience. Full-time role in Nairobi.

### Duties at this level will include

- Teaching and evaluating students; preparing schemes of work, lesson notes and lesson plans; 

- Assessing students in clinical areas; 

- Guiding and counselling students in matters related to their academics; 

- Supporting the designing and development instruments to assess health training needs; 

- Developing guidelines for evaluation of health teaching materials for different health fields; 

- Evaluating training programmes to determine their effectiveness and relevance with present and future health needs in the area of specialization; Implementing of competence based curriculum; 

- Planning and organizing continuing education programmes for health workers in relevant areas; 

- Conducting research in area of specialization, operational research and supervising students on research projects; and 

- Participating in formulating and implementing new training strategies

### Requirements

### For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have

- Bachelor’s degree in Community Oral Health; 

-  Been registered with Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC); 

- Valid practicing licence; and

-  Proficiency in Computer Applications.
