## Job Description

Last Mile Health seeks a Technical Assistant, Digital Health for a Malawi consultancy based in Lilongwe. The assignment runs from November 2026 to March 2027 for up to 36 hours per week. Working with the Ministry of Health Digital Health Division and Last Mile Health, the consultant will help review digital health strategy, draft frameworks and standard operating procedures, coordinate stakeholders and technical groups, and support the iCHIS transition. ## Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Public Health, Global Health, Health Informatics, Data Science or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. Experience developing digital health strategic documents in lower- or middle-income settings. Knowledge of health information systems such as DHIS2, OpenMRS, CommCare, ODK or iCHIS, plus data governance, sharing agreements and privacy/security requirements. Proven stakeholder coordination across government, technical groups and donors.
