## Job Description

We are looking for professionals who demonstrate professionalism, integrity, teamwork, accountability, good communication and commitment to quality patient care.

### Key Responsibilities

- Perform laboratory tests accurately and according to approved procedures.

- Receive, label, process and handle patient specimens correctly.

- Ensure accurate recording, analysis and reporting of laboratory results.

- Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents and supplies.

- Perform quality control procedures and maintain laboratory standards.

- Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of patient results.

- Maintain cleanliness, safety and infection prevention standards in the laboratory.

- Work closely with clinicians and other departments to support timely patient diagnosis and care.

- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, equipment faults and other laboratory needs.

- Comply with professional, regulatory and hospital requirements.

Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences/Technology from a recognised institution.

- Valid professional registration and practising licence.

- Hospital laboratory experience is an added advantage.

- Good technical, analytical and documentation skills.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

- High level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
