Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Software Engineers, and Product Owners to design and implement data solutions within an agile framework.
- Assist in shaping data architecture and technical designs using collaborative tools such as Jira.
- Develop, enhance, and automate data ingestion and ETL processes using low-code platforms such as KNIME.
- Integrate and manage data from multiple internal and external sources using SQL, PostgreSQL, and cloud-based technologies.
- Utilize Python and Java to build and optimize automation workflows and data-processing solutions.
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI and Salesforce.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across business systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in data engineering.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- A strong academic record is essential.
- Candidates who have consistently achieved high academic results and demonstrated excellence in quantitative or technical disciplines will be highly regarded.
- Strong academic background with a passion for data and technology.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Basic experience with Python and/or Java programming.
- Understanding of ETL concepts and data integration processes.
- Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is advantageous.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure is beneficial.
