Position: IT Quality Assurance OfficerLocation: Tanzania, United Republic of TanzaniaJob Category: ManagementJob Type: Full TimeJob Identification: 5766Posting Date: 13 August 2026, 11:08 AMApplication Deadline: 27 August 2026, 5:00 PM Job Description Key Responsibilities Champion and coordinate business requirements reviews across functional teams and ensure that business requirements are complete, precise, and testable. Work with the project team to define and create the overall project test strategy and test plan, plan test schedules or strategies, identify test resources, estimate test effort in accordance with project scope or delivery dates, and ensure that the test strategy is achieved. Develop, document, and maintain functional and non-functional test cases, test scripts, and other test artifacts such as test data, data validation, harness scripts, and automated scripts. Work collaboratively with business units and project teams to execute and validate test cases based on business requirements and ensure that test cases are traceable to the requirements. In collaboration with GEA and other critical stakeholders, tune the SQA processes, adopt tools, and define reusable templates in line with the adoption and maturity of the SQA Framework. Define the test process, including required test activities and deliverables, conduct Test Readiness Assessments, establish test beds, and ensure that test beds are available for all planned white-box and black-box testing activities. Provide support for Co Banking application (T24) issues, user profile management, and tracking of all changes as requested by the business team and in accordance with the DCOE change process. Prepare, share, and review test results periodically, report defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws, and develop test acceptance reports for projects and software changes while ensuring optimal availability of UAT environments. Work with business units to perform post-deployment sanity and regression tests and post-implementation reviews within the defined period to confirm that the deployed solution works according to business requirements. Participate in the formulation and implementation of software process improvement policies and strategies for the IT division. Daily Responsibilities Develop, distribute, and coordinate in-depth business requirement reviews across functional teams and ensure that business requirements are comprehensive, precise, and testable. Provide support for Co Banking application (T24) issues, user profile management, and tracking of all changes as requested by the business team. Share with the IT Service Delivery Manager the list of T24 system changes and their status and ensure optimal availability of UAT environments. Prepare, share, and review test results periodically, report defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws, and develop test acceptance reports for projects and software changes. Evaluate application release deliverables against expected quality standards of output and escalate any problems for resolution and subsequent achievement of commitments. Minimum Position Qualification Requirements Academic and Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in: Information Technology Computer Science Computer Engineering Any IT-related field Professional qualifications: International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) certification Project Management ITIL Master’s degree in: Business Administration Project Management Experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
