## Job Description

IT Graduate Trainee role at AAR Hospital, supporting software development and IT operations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field with knowledge of programming languages (PHP, Python, Java, C++) and databases (Postgres SQL, Microsoft SQL). Trainee/entry-level, full-time role.

Job Purpose

- To assist in writing and testing code, gathering business requirements, coordinating agile projects.

### Key responsibilities

- Assist in writing clean, testable code and fixing software bugs.

- Assist with software design and participate in code reviews.

- Support system deployment, updates, and routine maintenance.

- Assist in document workflows, system policies, and user guides.

- Assist in tracking project timelines, sprint goals, and deliverables.

- Assist in managing and coordinating IT service desk requests from users and provide timely feedback on all requests.

- Assist in maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets and IT documentation.

Position requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or IT-related discipline.

- Software and hardware support

- Knowledge of Programming PHP, Python, Java, C++

- Knowledge of databases e.g. Postgres SQL, Microsoft SQL

- Good customer service and people skills

- Self-motivated and a team player

- Pleasant personality

- Excellent communication skills
