# Internal Auditor Job St Francis Community Hospital Nairobi, Kenya Canonical URL: https://primejobalerts.com/jobs/internal-auditor-job-st-francis-community-hospital-nairobi-kenya Company: St Francis Community Hospital Nairobi, Kenya Category: Accounting Location: Kenya Work type: Full-time Work arrangement: On-site Published: 2026-08-10 Expires: 2026-08-14 ## Job Description ### Key Responsibilities - Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements - Identify, assess, and monitor organizational risks, recommending appropriate mitigation measures and control improvements. - Evaluate governance, risk management, and internal control systems, and monitor implementation of corrective actions. - Investigate suspected fraud, irregularities, and policy violations, and recommend preventive measures. - Prepare audit reports, present findings to Management and the Audit Committee, and track implementation of audit recommendations. - Provide advisory support on governance, risk management, internal controls, policy reviews, and the implementation of new systems and processes to promote operational efficiency and accountability Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Business Administration, or a related field. - Professional qualification such as CPA(K), ACCA, CIA, CISA, or an equivalent certification. - Membership in a relevant professional body will be an added advantage. - Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in internal audit, risk management, compliance, or external audit, preferably within the healthcare sector.
