INSTRUCTOR – ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN

Job description

A growing professional training institution invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals to join its pool of part-time instructors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver high-quality online and/or in-person training sessions in an engaging and professional manner.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials and student assessments.
• Mentor and guide students through practical design projects and assignments.
• Provide timely feedback, academic guidance and learner support.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of training programmes.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should possess

• A Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design or a related discipline. A Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
• Practical industry experience with significant exposure to interior and spatial design projects.
• Proficiency in CAD and design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Archicad, Revit or similar applications.
• Sound knowledge of design principles, space planning, construction methods, materials and finishes.
• Teaching, training, mentoring or facilitation experience will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
