Insieme si può seeks a Ugandan Post-Harvesting Vanilla Expert for its AICS-supported Vani-Coops project. Based in Kampala with frequent field missions to Iganga, Jinja and Mukono, the specialist will train growers and cooperatives in vanilla harvesting, curing and storage; establish quality-control and grading practices; advise on post-harvest facilities; and report on field operations. The fixed-term, full-time contract is for one year with possible renewal. Requirements

Ugandan national; master's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Food Science or a related field; at least five years of post-harvest processing experience with vanilla or similar crops; non-profit or development-sector experience; fluent English, with local languages an advantage. Knowledge of sustainable post-harvest practice and value chains, strong training and communication, quality-control, analysis and reporting skills, and commitment to safeguarding, gender equality and environmental sustainability are required.
