## Job Description

Information Systems Audit Intern assisting in evaluating IT general controls, application controls and information systems security, requiring a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science with First Class or Second Class Upper Honours and strong understanding of IT controls and cybersecurity principles, in an audit firm environment, on-site role.

Application Requirements

- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a closely related field.

- First Class Honours or Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in the relevant undergraduate degree.

- Must have completed all degree requirements and either graduated or be awaiting formal graduation.

- Strong understanding of IT controls, information systems, cybersecurity principles and risk management.

- Understanding of IT governance, risk management and control frameworks, such as COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, will be an added advantage.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.

- Proficiency in relevant computer applications and data analysis tools.

- One to two years of relevant practical experience in IT audit, information systems, IT controls or cybersecurity will be a strong advantage.

- Relevant certifications or professional qualifications, including CISA or equivalent, will be an added advantage.

### Key Responsibilities

- Assist in evaluating IT general controls, application controls and information systems security.

- Participate in IT risk assessments and information systems audit engagements.

- Test access controls, system configurations, data integrity and business process controls.

- Identify control weaknesses, system vulnerabilities and technology-related risks.

- Prepare audit working papers, document findings and contribute to audit reports.

- Research emerging technology risks and recommend appropriate control improvements.
