Job description

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is seeking an Application Developer at its Ibadan, Oyo State headquarters. This on-site, six-month renewable contract is open to suitable Nigerian nationals. The developer will build and improve features for IITA’s RFU application in C# and .NET Framework, test changes before deployment, resolve incidents, maintain technical and user documentation, support and train users, and work with teams on requirements and integrations. Requirements

BSc, HND or Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline, plus at least two years of relevant experience in a well-structured organisation. IITA asks for strong C# and .NET Framework skills; web application development, database design and system integration experience; understanding of user interface and user experience design principles; analytical problem-solving; and clear communication and teamwork.
