The successful candidate will manage the College’s ICT infrastructure and digital services while supporting the implementation and delivery of Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) programmes.The role involves providing technical support, managing Learning Management Systems (LMS), assisting lecturers with technology-enabled teaching, and promoting the effective integration of digital technologies into teaching, learning, assessment, and student support services.JOB TYPE: Full TimeApplication Deadline: Wednesday, 21st October, 2026POSITION: ICT OFFICER (ODeL)DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe ICT Officer (ODeL) will be responsible for the following duties:Managing and maintaining the College’s ICT infrastructure, systems, networks, and digital services.Providing technical support to academic, administrative, and student users.Supporting the implementation and management of the College’s Learning Management System (LMS).Coordinating the development and delivery of Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) programmes and activities.Supporting lecturers in developing and delivering technology-enabled and online learning materials.Providing training to academic and administrative staff on digital learning technologies.Managing user accounts, access controls, data backups, and basic ICT security.Supporting the integration of digital platforms into teaching, learning, assessment, and student support services.Monitoring the performance and availability of ICT and ODeL systems.Supporting the development and implementation of ICT and ODeL policies, procedures, and standards.Assisting with the development of digital learning content and online assessment systems.Providing technical support during online classes, examinations, and other digital learning activities.Maintaining appropriate records of ICT assets, systems, licences, and services.Advising management on ICT infrastructure, digital learning technologies, and emerging technologies relevant to higher education.Performing any other duties assigned by management.
