Job description
Reporting to: Systems Administrator
Githunguri Dairy Farmers Co-operative Society Ltd plays a key role in marketing of its member’s milk which is processed and packed in form of pouch packed fresh milk, Tetra Classic fresh milk, lala, butter, ghee and cream under the flagship of “Fresha Dairy Products”.

The society invites applications from suitable candidates to fill the following vacant position
Job Purpose
Responsible in developing, maintain and innovate software solutions that support manufacturing and business processes, improve operational efficiency through automation and systems integration, and build secure and reliable systems that connect business logic while ensuring compliance with ICT standards and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse departmental requirements and customize software applications, scripts and integrations to automate business processes and improve process efficiency.
- Design, build, deploy and maintain in-house solutions and system enhancements.
- Develop and maintain workflows for alerting and reporting systems.
- Identify opportunities for automation of manual processes.
- Collaborate with stake holders to ensure seamless integration, security compliance, and data integrity in all developments.
- Provide timely updates on progress and resolutions to stake holders.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for systems and workflows for knowledge transfer and continuity.
- User Testing, Patching and system monitoring post-implementation.
- Participate disaster recovery planning as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient Linux and Windows server administration.
- Proficiency in cross plat form system development in languages such as C#.
- Proficient in tools and frameworks relevant to application development and automation.
- Experience with databases, APIs, cloud services and version control.
- Hands-on experience in software development C# /.NET frameworks is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in front-end development using modern web technologies will be considered an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of ERP Systems and Integration REST APIs, SOAP, etc.
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to deliver projects on time.
