VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT@ MALAWI UNION CONFERENCE OF SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICEROVERVIEW Malawi Union Conference is a Christian organization of the Seventh Day Adventist Church seeking to recruit a competent, organized, professional and experienced Human Resource officer to join our teamKEY REQUIREMENTSBe a loyal, baptized practicing HR member of the Seventh-day Adventist ChurchMust own a degree in Human Resource Management or aboveFull knowledge of Malawi labour laws such as Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Workers Compensation Act and other Acts related to employmentKnowledge of litigation procedure related to human resourceSelf-starter with handson experience in human resource managementKEY RESPONSIBILITIESSound knowledge and experience in HRM, legislation, governance, policies and proceduresHR knowledge of the labour environment in MalawiKeep abreast of all legislative and organisational policy changesMust be self-motivated and able to work independently on HR issuesMust be fully bilingual and proficient in English and ChichewaBe able to create and implement systems for better organizationHOW TO APPLYAll interested candidates are encouraged to submit their application letter, a detailed curriculum vitae, and copies of their academic and professional certificates to the Executive Secretary of the Malawi Union Conference.Only shortlisted candidates will be contactedThe Executive SecretaryMalawi Union ConferencePrivate Bag 327Lilongwe 3Email:moyoq@muc.adventist.org orchipetam@muc.adventist.orgDeadline for receiving applications is 14th August, 2026
