The hospital provides healthcare services to rural communities in accordance with professional standards and Christian values.Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Hospital Driver (Grade N).Minimum RequirementsApplicants must:Be a practising Christian.Have at least two years of experience in the position applied for.Have a traceable record.Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.Note: The supplied advertisement does not specify the required driving licence class. Applicants should ensure they hold a valid licence appropriate for the vehicles they will be required to drive.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesCheck the vehicle's water, oil and fuel levels every morning before departure.Inspect tyres and tyre pressure before departure and whenever necessary.Transport staff members to designated outreach clinics professionally and courteously.Transport patients referred to other hospitals.Drive staff members on official duty and hospital business.Record opening and closing mileage after every trip.Keep the vehicle clean inside and outside at all times.Monitor the expiry dates of the Certificate of Fitness (C.O.F.) and insurance, and notify the Administration one week before renewal is due.Ensure that only personnel authorised by the Administration drive the vehicle.Observe the Diocese's stipulated speed limit of no more than 100 km/h.Ensure the spare wheel, jack and toolbox are present and functional.Contract and RemunerationThe successful candidate will be offered a three-year contract, renewable depending on performance.A competitive remuneration package in line with the Government of Malawi salary scale will be offered.How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit an application letter, copies of relevant certificates and an updated CV with the names and contact details of three traceable referees.Address the application to:The Hospital DirectorNkhamenya Community HospitalP.O.
