Responsible for leading the organisation’s ICT strategy, managing IT infrastructure and systems, overseeing cybersecurity, and ensuring reliable technology services that support business operations. Requires a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with extensive experience in ICT management. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi. Main Purpose of the job   To oversee the use of Information technology (IT) across the company. The role holder will be the one to devise the company’s IT strategy and ensure that all systems necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place. ### Key Responsibilities - Define and execute the ICT roadmap aligned with the company’s business strategy and evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on the company overall strategy. - Identify opportunities for leveraging technology such as machine learning, robotics automation, and artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and revenue growth. - Drive automation initiatives using AI to reduce manual processes, increase productivity, and improve accuracy. - Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including operating systems, servers, PCs, software apps, telephones, e-commerce platforms, POS systems, ERP, and CRM systems. - Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of all technology systems, ensuring there are robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive customer information and corporate data. - Drive digital transformation initiatives, including the development of omnichannel strategies that integrate online and offline customer experiences. - Providing expert advice and support when systems are being upgraded or installed, or when there are conversions or file maintenance. - Working with staff to develop plans and strategies so client services can be enhanced, user effectiveness improved, and innovation encouraged. - Managing IT staff, with responsibility for hiring, evaluation, and training. - Developing standard operating procedures allied to best practice, and ensuring written protocols and guidelines are provided for IT staff and all end-users. - Ensuring written documentation is created and maintained, to include user and system manuals, licence agreements and all documentation relating to modifications and upgrades. - Negotiating with suppliers of hardware and software to get the best deals, including external support, and being responsible for contracting consultants and making service agreements. - Creating a budget for each project as well as managing the financial aspects of the entire IT department such as purchases and on-going budgeting.  - Conducting regular system audits. - Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff. - Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages. - Supervision, management, and work plans for the IT department while ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in allocated activities. - Develop departmental objectives and KPIs and monitor progress and performance by conducting objective performance reviews. - Develop, revise, and create awareness of departmental standard operating procedures. - Provide leadership, mentorship and coaching to the team, ensuring they are trained to be a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement and adds value within their areas of responsibility. - Liaison with other departments to incorporate best practices into the manufacturing environment. ### How to Apply Send your application to hr@healthy-u2000.com ## Requirements Apply by email: hr@healthy-u2000.com ## Apply Use the canonical Prime Job Alerts page for full application instructions and source verification.
