### HEAD OF COMMERCIAL & SALES

Zambian Business Times (ZBT) is seeking a dynamic, commercially driven and strategic leader to drive our commercial growth and revenue performance. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Commercial & Sales will lead ZBT’s commercial strategy, drive revenue across multiple streams, lead and develop a high-performing sales team, build strategic partnerships, and strengthen ZBT’s market position as Zambia’s leading business media house.

### WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

### QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or related field.

- Minimum 5 years’ progressive commercial experience.

- At least 3 years in a sales leadership role.

- Experience in media, advertising, publishing, broadcasting or integrated marketing communications.

- Demonstrated record of exceeding revenue targets.

### EXPERIENCE

- Develop and execute the commercial strategy.

- Deliver annual revenue and profitability targets.

- Lead, coach and develop the sales team.

- Identify and close new business opportunities.

- Manage executive-level client relationships.

- Negotiate high-value commercial agreements.

- Grow sponsorships, subscriptions and strategic partnerships.

- Prepare forecasts, budgets and commercial reports.

- Monitor market trends and identify new revenue streams.

- Collaborate with Editorial, Marketing, Production and Events teams.

- Present commercial performance to the CEO.

- Drive accountability and customer excellence.
