  • Own design projects from initial brief and concept development through stakeholder review, production and final delivery.
  • Review project briefs and recommend effective design approaches that respond to audience, communication and project needs.
  • Ensure consistent quality, technical accuracy and appropriate adaptation across different materials, audiences and country contexts.

  • Explain design decisions clearly, navigate feedback constructively and guide stakeholders towards effective design solutions.
  • Proactively identify project risks, unclear requirements, competing priorities or potential delays, and communicate these early to relevant stakeholders and the manager.
  • Identify and contribute to practical improvements to recurring design processes, templates, workflows, and stakeholders’ ways of working.

Qualifications

Technical skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong print and digital design skills with print production knowledge, including preparing accurate, production-ready files.
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, brand application and designing for different audiences and communication needs.
  • Foundational experience in packaging design, from concept development to production-ready artwork.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience with Canva is an advantage.

Soft skills

  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills, including managing multiple priorities, setting clear expectations, proactively communicating timelines, and constructively navigating feedback.
