## Job Description

VACANCY: GRAIN STORAGE SUPERVISORWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Grain Storage Supervisor to oversee the safe storage, handling, and preservation of grain stocks. The successful candidate will ensure grain quality is maintained, and all health, safety, and quality standards are met.

### Duties and Responsibilities

### Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the day-to-day operations of grain storage facilities.
- Monitor grain quality, moisture levels, temperature, and pest activity.
- Coordinate grain receiving, storage, fumigation, aeration, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure accurate stock control, inventory records, and reporting.
- Inspect and maintain warehouses.
- Supervise and train storage personnel, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Implement health, safety, environmental, and food safety standards.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Prepare operational reports and support inventory audits.

- Diploma or Degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in grain storage, warehouse operations, or agricultural commodities management.
- Knowledge of grain quality management, fumigation practices, and inventory control.
- Experience supervising teams in a warehouse or grain handling environment.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
- A valid driver's licence is an added advantage.
