# General Worker Canonical URL: https://primejobalerts.com/jobs/general-worker Company: Kheper SA PTY LTD t/a Silki Category: Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics Location: South Africa, Cape Town, Western Cape Work type: Full-time Work arrangement: On-site Published: 2026-09-15 Expires: 2026-11-14 ## Job Description Key responsibilities (but not limited to):  Filling and packaging  Feed bottles, jars, tubes, and other containers into filling lines.  Fit caps, pumps, droppers, and lids correctly.  Inspect filled products for leaks, damage, or defects.  Apply labels accurately and verify correct batch numbers and expiry dates.  Pack finished products into cartons and shipping boxes according to specifications.  Palletize finished goods for storage or dispatch. Manufacturing support: Assist with weighing and preparing raw materials as instructed.  Transport raw materials and packaging components to production areas.  Assist operators during mixing and manufacturing processes.  Clean and prepare mixing vessels, utensils, and equipment before and after use.  Ensure workstations are organized and free of contamination. Quality control support: Perform visual inspections of products and packaging components.  Remove defective products from the production line.  Report quality issues immediately to the supervisor.  Follow all quality control instructions and in-process inspection procedures.  Help prevent product mix-ups and cross-contamination. Cleaning and housekeeping  Maintain clean production and storage areas. Documentation: Complete production records accurately where required.  Sign attendance, cleaning, and production checklists.  Record production quantities when requested.  Report any deviations or equipment problems to the supervisor.  ## Requirements Matric Minimum requirementsGrade 12 (matric) Previous experience in manufacturing is advantageous Apply by email: hr@feelsilki.com ## Apply Use the canonical Prime Job Alerts page for full application instructions and source verification.
