## Job Description

Are you ready to lead enterprise data transformation and drive innovation through modern data platforms?

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to modernise our data environment, strengthen platform capabilities and enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

### Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the enterprise data platform roadmap.

- Lead cloud data architecture, platform engineering and data integration initiatives.

- Modernise legacy systems and establish scalable, API-driven data environments.

- Implement data governance, quality, security, monitoring and data reliability practices.

- Enable trusted enterprise data, AI, advanced analytics and self-service reporting.

- Collaborate with executive and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business value.

- Lead high-performing technical teams, delivery partners and vendors.

- Manage delivery governance, resources and budget inputs.

### Minimum Requirements

- NQF Level 7 qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

- 5–7 years’ experience in data engineering, data platforms or enterprise architecture.

- Proven experience in enterprise data platform modernisation and cloud technologies.

- Experience leading technical delivery teams.

- Valid driver’s licence.

- Advantageous: NQF Level 8 qualification, cloud or architecture certifications, and experience in AI, advanced analytics, mobility or asset-intensive industries.
