Introduction

Pepkor Lifestyle is looking for an energetic and reliable General Assistant to join our store team! In this role, you will support daily retail operations by keeping our store clean and compliant, maintaining stocked and attractive displays, delivering exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with your team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Housekeeping: Maintain daily cleanliness of kitchen, toilets, and store areas to OHASA standards, keeping aisles neat and displays safe.

- Stock & Merchandising: Unpack deliveries, stock shelves, conduct stock counts, display promo posters, apply suite treatments, and report stock loss or damage.

- Customer Centricity: Deliver excellent service, assist with customer conflict resolution, and exceed customer expectations in line with the service code.

- Teamwork & Self-Management: Prioritize daily workloads, build positive workplace relationships, and actively drive personal skill development.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

- Education: Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4).

- Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience as a general worker.

- Knowledge: Understanding of OHASA legislation, retail customer service best practices, and store policies.

- Key Skills: Strong communication, time management, multi-tasking, attention to detail, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
