VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT@ MWOS MALAWI (MOORS WORLD OF SPORT)POSITION: FRANCHISE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERLocation: BlantyreAbout the RoleMWOS Malawi (Moors World of Sport) is seeking a qualified and experienced Franchise Business Development Manager to join our team in Blantyre.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of the MWOS franchise network across Malawi. The role requires a commercially minded professional with strong relationship management, business development and operational skills to support sustainable franchise growth and maintain high standards across the network.Employment Type: Full-Time | On-SitePOSITION: FRANCHISE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERJOB TYPE: Full TimeKEY REQUIREMENTSQualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field.Proven experience in business development, sales, relationship management or a similar commercial role.Experience in franchising, retail networks, distribution or multi-site operations will be an added advantage.Strong market research, data analysis and strategic planning skills.Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.Good understanding of business operations and performance management.Familiarity with sports betting, gaming, entertainment or technology-driven businesses is an advantage.Proficiency in using digital platforms and standard business applications.Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Willingness to travel within Malawi.High level of professionalism and commitment to ethical and compliant business practices.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify and evaluate potential franchise opportunities across Malawi.Conduct market research and analyse market trends to identify growth opportunities.Develop business plans and strategies to support franchise expansion.Recruit, onboard and provide ongoing support to franchise partners.Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees and key stakeholders.Monitor franchise performance, profitability and operational standards.Ensure franchise partners comply with company policies, brand guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.Coordinate with Marketing and other internal teams on franchise-related campaigns and promotional activities.Identify operational challenges and support franchisees in implementing appropriate solutions.Prepare regular reports on franchise performance, market developments and business opportunities.Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing and Technology teams to ensure franchisees have the necessary support and resources.HOW TO APPLYInterested candidates who meet the above requirements should submit their CV and cover letter to:Email: mwoscareers@gmail.comOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
