Forklift Operator safely operating forklifts and material handling equipment within warehouse operations, requiring a High School KCSE Certificate with a valid driving license and 5+ years of heavy commercial vehicles driving experience, in a logistics/courier environment, on-site role.

Job Purpose

• The incumbent is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles to support timely delivery and collection of consignments within Fargo operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks and other material handling equipment (MHE) within warehouse operations.
• Load, offload, move, stack and retrieve materials efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and report equipment defects or malfunctions.
• Ensure timely servicing, maintenance and fueling of MHES while maintaining accurate records.
• . Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety standards, company SOPs, traffic regulations and PPE requirements.
• Support efficient warehouse operations by ensuring timely material handling and equipment availability.
• Maintain proper housekeeping, implement 55 standards and safeguard company assets.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports on MHE inspections, servicing, fuel consumption and incidents.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and client information and comply with the Data Protection Policy.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School KCSE Certificate
•  Valid driving license.
• 5 years and above of heavy commercial vehicles drivingexperience.
