The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust Food Safety Management Systems, ensuring compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, ZABS Standards, and Zambian food safety regulations. This position requires a hands-on leader who can conduct thorough audits, lead staff training, and oversee corrective actions to uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality.

### Key Responsibilities

- Implement and sustain Food Safety Management Systems across operations.

- Conduct regular food safety audits and ensure full regulatory compliance.

- Lead food safety training initiatives and manage corrective action plans.

- Maintain comprehensive records of quality, traceability, and compliance.

### Qualifications and Experience

- Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or Veterinary Public Health.

- HACCP Certification as Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor.

- ISO 22000 Lead Auditor Certification is a strong advantage.

- Minimum of four years’ experience in Food Safety within Meat Processing, Poultry, or Food Manufacturing sectors.

- In-depth knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, Codex Alimentarius, and Zambian food safety regulations.
