POSITION: FOOD AND BEVERAGES SUPERVISORLocation: NchaloOVERVIEWTears Investments invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Food and Beverages Supervisor.Job Type: Full TimeLocation: Arrows Hotel, Nchalo, ChikwawaReporting to: Hotel ManagerJOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a qualified and motivated Food and Beverages Supervisor to support effective hotel management and operations.The Food and Beverages Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring proper leadership, daily hotel operations, reporting, quality and safety, customer care and satisfaction, and compliance with organizational procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties, among others:Staff LeadershipLead daily shift briefings for waiters and bartenders.Make work schedules and assign daily duties.Train new staff members on service standards.Monitor team grooming, punctuality, and performance.Guest ServiceWelcome hotel guests and ensure prompt table service.Resolve guest complaints quickly and professionally.Collect direct feedback to improve future dining experiences.Coordinate VIP service and special requests.Daily OperationsCheck restaurant, bar, and conference setups before service starts.Verify menu availability and beverages.Supervise cash handling, billing, and point-of-sale (POS) operations.Coordinate table bookings and event seating plans.Quality and SafetyEnforce local health, hygiene, and sanitation rules.Monitor storage temperatures for food and drinks.Check that dining areas and equipment remain clean and safe.Reduce waste and manage inventory counts regularly.
