Job Purpose: The role holder will be responsible for implementing Group Finance policies to ensure financial control and timely reporting of financial results of the Zanzibar/Tanzania entities. Key Responsibilities: Implementation of Financial accounting policies complying with Group policies and IFRS. Responsibility for the AP function. This includes supplier invoice accounting as per policy/authorization and managing payments and cash flow Responsibility for Daily Sales accounting and reporting. Ensuring that cash collections are deposited in Bank and reconciled plus Card reconciliations. Implement controls to ensure there is no revenue leakage Carry out Financial month closing activities within strict timelines. This will include reconciliation and review of GL nominals Secondary review of Inventory processes impacting Financial Statements. Review of monthly payroll Required Experience, Skills & Qualification: Minimum 7 years of experience in a Finance function with involvement in all the major accounting streams – AP/AP/GL Good internal/external communicator being able to build strong relationships Detail oriented and analytical Must be willing to relocate to Zanzibar, Tanzania.
