Role summary
We’re looking for an experienced finance professional to lead budgeting and management reporting for a well-established retail group, providing the insight their leadership team needs to make confident decisions.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process.Compile monthly management accounts and variance analysis.Analyse financial performance against budget and prior periods.Present financial insights and recommendations to management.Maintain and improve budgeting and reporting templates and models.Support department heads with budget planning and cost control.Assist with cash flow forecasting.Ensure reporting deadlines are consistently met.Minimum requirements
Relevant finance/accounting qualification (degree/diploma; SAIPA/CIMA advantageous).Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in budgeting, management accounting, or financial reporting.Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience advantageous.Strong analytical and communication skills.Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.What we offer
