## Job Description

OVERVIEWFalcon Gas Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Officer to provide critical support to our Finance Manager and broader organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, maintaining the general ledger, handling accounts payable/receivable, and preparing regular bank reconciliations to ensure the seamless financial health of our operations.Position Type: Full-timeApplication Deadline: Friday, 28th September 2026POSITION: FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING OFFICERJOB TYPE: Full TimeKEY RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers, balance sheets, and cash flow reports using Tally accounting software.Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and forecast financial statements and budgets to provide valuable insights to management.Daily Operations: Manage bank statement reconciliations, cash flow, petty cash transactions, and expense tracking.Compliance & Audits: Conduct internal audits, carry out financial risk assessments, and ensure absolute compliance with tax regulations and timely filings.Credit Control: Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, managing communication with customers and vendors regarding receivables and payments.Period Closures: Complete month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of schedules, reports, and variances.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly related field.Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience as an Accountant, Junior Auditor, or Financial Analyst.DESIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIESHigh proficiency in Tally and other advanced accounting software.Strong working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial modelling.Strong analytical problem-solving skills and strict attention to detail.Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills to meet tight financial deadlines independently.HOW TO APPLYInterested and qualified candidates should submit their applications by Friday, 28th September 2026.
