VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT@ AMAZING B PROJECTS POSITION: FARM OPERATIONS OFFICER Location: Lilongwe OVERVIEW Amazing B Projects is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Farm Operations Officer.The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the farm, combining practical field work with the supervision and coordination of livestock, crop production, farm workers, and farm resources. The role requires a hands-on individual who can lead by example while ensuring efficient, productive, and sustainable farm operations.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in and supervise daily livestock production activities.Monitor animal health and implement disease prevention and control measures.Diagnose common animal health problems and administer appropriate treatments.Develop and implement vaccination, deworming, and biosecurity programmes.Maintain accurate livestock health, production, and farm records.Supervise farm workers and ensure good animal husbandry and crop production practices.Coordinate crop production activities, including land preparation, planting, crop management, harvesting, and storage.Operate and oversee the proper use and maintenance of farm equipment, machinery, and tools.Monitor farm inputs and inventory and provide recommendations for improving productivity and efficiency.Ensure compliance with animal welfare, occupational health and safety, and environmental standards.Prepare periodic farm performance reports and provide technical recommendations to management.Perform other farm operational duties as assigned by management.Minimum QualificationsAge: 35 years or below.Certificate or Diploma in Animal Health, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or a related field.At least two (2) years of practical experience in livestock production, crop farming, and farm operations.Demonstrated ability to supervise staff while actively participating in farm activities.Good leadership, communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Possession of a valid Class C1 Driver's Licence is mandatory.Employment TypeFull-timeDuty StationMitundu Farm, MalawiHow to ApplyInterested candidates should submit the following:Application letterUpdated Curriculum Vitae (CV)Copies of academic and professional certificatesCopy of driver's licenceContact details of at least two (2) refereesApplications should be sent to:Email: amazingbinfo@gmail.com
