OVERVIEWAvrico Estates Ltd is seeking an experienced, practical, and hands-on Farm Manager to join our growing Hass avocado operation in Lilongwe, Malawi. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded agricultural professional to take ownership of the day-to-day management of farm operations and play an important role in developing a sustainable, efficient, and high-value horticulture enterprise.KEY REQUIREMENTSStrong practical farming experience in commercial agriculture.Proven leadership and team supervision skills.A genuine understanding of orchard management, crop nutrition, and soil health.Experience in avocado production, horticulture, or orchard management, which will be a strong advantage.The ability to manage irrigation systems, pest and disease management programmes, and farm infrastructure.Good record-keeping and reporting skills.A willingness to work closely with agronomy experts and implement recommended best practices.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManaging the day-to-day operations of the farm and avocado orchard.Monitoring tree health, growth, nutrition, and soil conditions.Managing irrigation and water systems.Planning and supervising fertiliser, pest, and disease management programmes.Overseeing land preparation, planting, pruning, and general orchard maintenance.Supervising, training, and developing the farm team.Maintaining accurate farm records and preparing regular progress reports.Working closely with agronomy experts to implement best farming practices.Managing farm equipment, materials, and infrastructure.Supporting the company's long-term commitment to sustainable and efficient farming.BENEFITSCompetitive salary.Rent-free accommodation on site.Free electricity and water.HOW TO APPLYInterested candidates should email their CV to:Email: support@avricoestates.comPlease include the following information in your application:A summary of your experience to date.Your current or most recent role.Your salary expectations.Your availability to start.Your WhatsApp phone number for contact.Application Deadline: 2nd September 2026Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
