The school is located on the Southern part of the plot of land owned by the Catholic Diocese of Mzuzu. It Is situated along the Chimaliro Road, about eight kllometres from the hub of Mzuzu City.Although the school is based in Mzuzu, Its catchment area covers all districts in Malawi.Applications are invited from suitably qualified, committed Christians to fill the vacant position of a Teacher tenable at Marymount Catholic Secondary School.TEACHEREnglish / Chichewa (1)The successful candidate will be answerable to the School Manager, through the Operations Manager / Academics.The teacher will be responsible for:Ensuring preparation of schemes and records of work and lesson plans in their teaching subject.Preparing methods of teaching and assessing students.Ensuring that the subject matter is delivered within the allocated timeEnsuring that students are given enough work to doEnsuring that students’ behavior is consistent with standing regulations that the school currently enforceListing all teaching materials and maintaining inventoryPreparing and setting both termly and occasional testsMarking and recording the scores in the report cards and scholastic record forms as per deadlinesMonitoring performance of students and arranging revision where necessaryIdentifying subject needs, budgeting and ensuring acquisition of the materialsLaising with other teachers in the provision of essential information for the development of the students and efficient use of timeEncouraging students to participate in co-curricular activities.Being exemplary to students ### Requirements QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in EducationMust have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar positionMust be between the age of 30-60 yearsMust be a practicing ChristianMust be sober-minded and honestMust be computer literateMust be a self-starterRetired teachers have an added advantage.All applications should include contact numbers and addresses of at least three traceable referees and a current Curriculum Vitae (CV).Closing date for receiving applications is 25th August, 2026.
