## Job Description

The Environmental Justice Foundation is recruiting an Africa Regional Coordinator for its EU-funded Global Toolkit for Participatory Fisheries Governance. The full-time role may be based at EJF's Cape Coast, Ghana office or its Dakar, Senegal office, with regional and international travel. This Ghana listing reflects the Cape Coast option. Work covers coordination of country teams and field workshops with small-scale fishing communities, partner and government relationships, project budgets and subgrants, monitoring, and donor reporting. EJF describes the role as in-person; its live application form asks applicants to confirm they can work from Cape Coast or Dakar at least three days a week, so candidates should confirm the precise schedule with EJF. Compensation is competitive, up to US$31,000 gross per year depending on experience; this is a ceiling, not a guaranteed salary. Applications close 30 October 2026 at 18:00 GMT. Applicants need the legal right to work in Ghana and/or Senegal; visa sponsorship is not available. Verified 22 October 2026 against EJF's current job page and active application form.
