Qualifications & Experience

• Professional qualification as a state recognised early years educator or a comparable pedagogical qualification recognised in Kenya
• At least one year of professional experience
• Experience in language development
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work closely with parents and school management
• A high degree of flexibility and intercultural competence
• Fluent English at C2 level
• Experience in creative and artistic activities
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Commitment, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for early childhood education

Key responsibilities

• Providing individual support and educational activities across different groups
• Leading activities in art, music, sport, language development and social learning
• Planning educational themes and projects
• Planning celebrations, events and related activities
• Working closely with parents
• Documenting each child’s learning and development using portfolios and the Development Snail assessment tool
