Job description

Sovereign Foods is recruiting a Duty Manager for risk operations in its Agriculture division in Kariega, South Africa. This full-time, on-site role reports to the Loss Control Manager and helps protect company assets and enforce safety requirements. Duties include site and staff inspections, preliminary incident reports, deploying security guards, responding to alarms and emergencies, monitoring asset movement, maintaining the occurrence book and vehicle register, and auditing poultry catching and thinning operations against procedures. Requirements

Grade 12 certificate, First Aid Level 2, PRISA registration with Security Grade C, driver’s licence with PDP, and at least three years of security experience. Ability to lead and supervise staff, administer records, communicate clearly, investigate and report cases, and analyse incidents.
