## Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

- The incumbent is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to facilitate timely delivery and collection of consignments whilst adhering to company policies, HSE procedures and road safety requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Safely drive company vehicles and ensure timely deliveries and collections.

- Safely load and offload consignments in line with HSE procedures.

- Maintain effective communication with Dispatch and Control Room teams.

- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep, and promptly report defects, damage or malfunctions requiring servicing.

- Follow vehicle handover/takeover, journey, work-ticket and courier procedures, in compliance with company policies, Driver Golden Rules and traffic laws.

- Ensure vehicle branding, licensing and statutory compliance requirements are maintained and adhere to company requirements on reporting times and authorized passengers.

- Protect customer and shipment information in line with the Data Protection Policy.

- Uphold professionalism, integrity, courtesy and excellent customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

- High School KCSE Certificate.

- Valid driving license

- 5 years and above of heavy commercial vehicles driving experience.

- High integrity, honesty and professionalism.

- Good grooming, communication and time management.

- Safe and courteous driving.

- Customer-focused and cost-conscious.

- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

- Team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
