Digital Marketing Executive managing digital platforms and leading the launch of an e-commerce store, requiring a Degree or Diploma in Digital Marketing or E-Commerce with demonstrated experience building or running an e-commerce store, in an agribusiness environment, on-site role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the company’s digital platforms — website, social media channels and Google Business Profile.
- Integrate the online store with stock, order and finance systems so orders flow through without re-keying.
- Plan and run campaigns that build demand for branded eggs across retail, foodservice and direct customers.
- Track and report performance: traffic, conversion, order value, cost per acquisition and repeat purchase.
- Build brand awareness for Kingrich eggs across digital, retail, trade and community channels, ensuring consistent brand identity on packaging, collateral and signage
- Lead the design, build and launch of the Kingrich e-shop ahead of first egg production.
- Set up and maintain payment and delivery workflows, including M-Pesa and card gateways.
- Produce content — product photography, short-form video, copy and packaging artwork — for digital and trade use.
- Handle online customer enquiries and order support, and maintain the customer database in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019.
Qualifications & Experience
- Kenyan National.
- Degree or diploma in Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Information Systems, Business IT, Computer Science, Web Development or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience building or running an e-commerce store (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento or similar) — please include links or a portfolio.
- Working knowledge of web development and systems integration: CMS, HTML/CSS, APIs, payment gateway integration (M-Pesa Daraja), and linking a store to inventory and accounting systems.
- Hands-on with Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4) and search engine optimization.
- Content skills: copywriting in English and Kiswahili, basic graphic design, product photography and short-form video.
- Valid Kenyan driving license, and willingness to travel between farm sites, Nairobi and customers.
- Keen attention to detail, integrity, and the initiative to run a project from the ground up.
