ANDREWS CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOLPOSITION: DEPUTY HEAD TEACHERLocation: Chitipa OVERVIEW The Diocese of Karonga invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of DEPUTY HEAD TEACHER at St. Andrews Catholic Primary School in Chitipa District.Key Responsibilities- Prepare the master timetable.- Chair and participate in disciplinary meetings.- Check schemes of work, lesson plans and test items.- Allocate teaching subjects to teaching staff.- Assist the Head Teacher in supervising teaching.- Act on behalf of the Head Teacher in their absence.- Perform other duties assigned from time to time.Qualifications & Experience- T2 Certificate of Education from a recognized Teachers Training College.- At least 5 years' teaching experience, including experience in a leadership position.- Knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching is a must.How to ApplySubmit a cover letter, updated CV with three traceable referees, and copies of academic/professional certificates addressed to:The Human Resource OfficerThe Diocese of KarongaP.O.
